SVR NSS Arts College colleges was established in 1995 and affiliated to Kerala University, Sree Vidyadhiraja College is a self financing institution. Sree Vidyadhiraja College of Arts and Science was started in 1995.Students from the college had scecured a top rank in the recent university examination As part of its development plan, the college aims to construct a college Auditorium, Library Hall, Computer Hall, and to continue with the process of beautification of the campus. The college also plans to begin distance education programmes along with various extension activities such as consultancy services and job oriented special projects.
